If you are a bagel lover, I would really like to recommend a visit to “NYC Bagel Deli” in West End, Brisbane!!
The West End area is a little bit of a throwback, there are some vintage clothing stores, boutiques, and book stores which create a very unique vibe in Brisbane. Also, you can easily access the West End area from the Brisbane CBD (you can take just one bus! Bus 199!!)

There is a coffee counter in front of the entrance where you can choose some bagels and order!
NYC Bagel Deli’s interior is filled with good vibes with sunlight flooding the cafe as the open windows let in a fresh and gentle breeze. You can enjoy a meal in the fresh air looking outside because there are not only sofa seats, but also counter seats along the front window.
There are also seats outside, so you can enjoy a meal at terrace seats with fresh air, creating a cozy mood especially in the beautiful Brisbane sunshine!!
A wide variety of menus and a lot of bagel options!
“NYC Bagel Deli” has a lot of menu choices from something simple such as a bagel with butter or cream cheese, a more classic menu such as a bagel with smoked salmon or chicken to a little bit of an adventurous menu such as with bacon, peanut butter, banana and cream cheese. These types of rich menu items make you want to come back to NYC Bagel Deli again and again!!
A staff member said REUBEN, B.R.A.T, and SMOKED SALMON are popular menus!
Various types of bagels such as plain, sesame seed, poppy seed, garlic, onion and blueberry are displayed at the bagel shop.
Even with the same menu, changing the type of bagel lets you enjoy a different flavor and that you get creative!
I ordered SMOKED SALMON ($19) and an Iced oat matcha latte ($7.9).
SMOKED SALMON bagel has smoked salmon, spring onion & dill cream cheese, capers, black pepper, and cucumber. It was tasty!! I could enjoy the rich flavor from the smoked salmon and cream cheese, but also the fresh and salty cucumber and capers.
Matcha latte (so popular in Australia currently) was also tasty!!
